I used US and UK Crochet stitch terminology in parallel with abbreviation because I think with time you will learn easy this way. For UK terms please follow (...) from instructions.

MATERIALS
You can use any yarn and any suitable hook for your yarn.
For mine I used 3 ply acrylic yarn and the 2.5mm crochet hook.
For eyes I used 1 ply acrylic yarn and the 1.5mm crochet hook. You can use black buttons for eyes.
You will need a yarn needle and a scissor.
How to crochet Snowman (head):
Work in continuous rounds in white color yarn.
Make a slip knot, chain 4 - 4ch, make a ring by doing a slip stitch - sl st - in first chain.
1 Round:
chain 3 – 3ch
do 12 double crochet - 12dc ( UK - 12 treble crochet - 12 tr)
join with s slip stitch - sl st - in first stitch
2 Round:
chain 3 - 3ch
in first stitch do 1 double crochet - 1dc ( UK - 1 treble crochet - 1tr)
in next stitches do 2 double crochet - 2dc ( UK - 2 treble crochet - 2tr)
join with s slip stitch - sl st - in first stitch
3 Round:
chain 3 – 3ch
in first stitch do 1 double crochet - 1dc ( UK - 1 treble crochet – 1tr)
in next stitches do 2 double crochet - 2dc ( UK - 2 treble crochet – 2tr)
join with s slip stitch - sl st - in first stitch
4 Round:
chain 3 - 3ch
in next stitches do 1 double crochet – 1dc ( UK 1 treble crochet – 1tr)
join with a slip stitch - sl st - in first stitch
How to crochet snowman’s hat:
Make a slip knot and chain 20 - 20ch
1 Round:
Chain other 3 that will count like a stitch
1 double crochet - 1dc (UK - 1 treble crochet - 1tr) in every chain
2 Round:
Make a slip stitch - sl st - in first 4 stitches
Change color and chain 3 - 3ch
In next 12 stitches do 1 double crochet - 1dc (UK 1 treble crochet - 1tr )
3 Round:
chain 3 - 3ch, flip the work
do 12 double crochet - 12dc (UK 12 treble crochet - 12tr)
For Round 4 and Round 5 repeat row 3
Snowman Carrot Nose:
With orange yarn make a slip knot, chain 7 - 7ch
Work back and do in second chain and next one 1 single crochet - 1sc
(UK - 1 double crochet - 1dc)
In next 3 chaines do 1 half double crochet - 1hdc (UK 1 half treble crochet - 1htr)
In last chain do 2 double crochet - 2dc (UK 2 treble crochet - 2tr)
On lateral of last stitch do 2 single crochet - 2sc (UK 2 treble crochet - 3tr)
Slip stitch - sl st - in first chain to end
How to make eyes - if you have black buttons you can skip this step
Make a slip knot and chain 4 – 4ch
Make a ring by doing a slip stitch - sl st - in first chain
Chain 1 – 1ch - then do in ring 12 single crochet - 12sc (UK 12 double crochet - 12 dc)
Slip stitch - sl st - in first stitch to end
Sew pieces together than embroider snowman’s mouth with pink or black thread.
