Below you can find a step by step and clearly explained tutorial and we hope for you everything will be easy. Colours is perfect we think, but if you want to change you can feel free you can also add some tiny items on the wreath. Also, it will decorate your clothing and accessories or your children’s bags and etc.



I used US and UK Crochet stitch terminology in parallel with abbreviation because I think with time you will learn easy this way. For UK terms please follow (...) from instructions.






LEFT HANDED VERSION HERE


This is the easiest Christmas wreath ornament crochet pattern which you can use to beautifully decorate your tree this year. Choose any 3 colors you love to make festive Christmas crochet wreaths. Any size of the ring works for this free crochet pattern for Christmas wreath ornament. Simply increase the number of stitches with multiply of 7, as much as you need to achieve the desired size.


Materials

You can use any yarn and any suitable hook for your yarn. For mine I used 3 ply acrylic yarn and the 3mm crochet hook. You will need also some plastic ring, yarn needle, scissor.

INSTRUCTIONS


ROW 1 - make a knot on the plastic ring. Do 2ch then make as many dc ( UK - tr) you need to cover your ring.

To complete row 1 do a sl st in first stitch


ROW 2

1sc ( UK 1 double crochet – 1dc) in first two stitches, 2tr (UK – 2dtr) in the third stitch.

Repeat until the end of row: 1sc ( UK - 1dc) in next two stitches then 2tr (UK - 2dtr) in the third stitch.


ROW 3

Change color and 1ch, 1dc ( UK – 1tr) in first 4 stitches. Do 1sc ( UK – 1dc) under first sc ( UK dc) stitch of previous row.

Repeat until the end of row: 1dc ( UK – 1tr) in first 4 stitches then do 1sc ( UK – 1dc) under first sc ( UK dc) stitch of previous row.
